Traffic congestion on the rise

Funny, my bike commute nearly always takes the same time regardless of the traffic.

What do you expect when we continually pump population and big Australia. Have we even had a conversation about big Australia and if we actually want it?

Not really a conversation....but yes, we've made that decision via our expectations of a first++world lifestyle in an empty third world geographical location that makes nothing. Someone has to pay for today.

When I was in London earlier this year some riders were complaining how their travel times we increasing due to excessive congestion on commuter cycleways. Not likely to happen in Canberra I suppose

How about all the roadworks going on at the same time on so many major roads, train crossing removals, tunnels? (In Victoria at least)

I guess they're starting to action a plan before the population gets really big!
