In total, racked up 31 hours of 'exercise'. So super-happy with averaging an hour a day...

Pretty sure I spotted him yesterday too.
Going to be tough work. 1680km for the month, so a good start.

Yeah, you and your mate were flying along and it wasn't until you had gone past that I realised who it was. This nice cool change makes riding more enjoyable even with the wind.g-boaf wrote:find_bruce wrote:There's a reason his friends call him Fabiang-boaf wrote:Making sure to try and keep ahead of Hergest this year. Hey Robert, Phil,RobertL wrote:Chef wrote:963 km's for the month - have been off the bike for a few days with a bad back so should be able to get back on track when I am fit to ride!
Still can't work out the progress bar despite lots of searching - can someone help please?
Cheers
Phil
Ditto. I'm not sure what to do to get the progress bar.
PM me your Strava id (profile page URL - for instance https://www.strava.com/athletes/179230) and your goal for the year. It’s slightly flaky as it’s just a job run on my laptop each night and uploaded to my wife’s site

That's what happens when you are trying to get through Prospect before the gates close at 6:30pm. We made it by 2 minutes. After we saw you we ended up going even faster. Once we got to prospect it was "okay, we'll get through - now we can slow down a bit".Hergest wrote:Yeah, you and your mate were flying along and it wasn't until you had gone past that I realised who it was. That night was actually a bit chilly in comparison with that stinking heat and humidity.

In my experience, if you ride by yourself often enough it becomes second natureRobertL wrote:Let's try that again, without the extraneous line in the signature...

I 'accidentally' added 10k's to my ride home tonight. I knew it wasn't a short cut but when I'd only made it half way by the time I should've been home I knew I was in strife. Thankfully SWMBO knows I'm a bit of an explorer on the bike and accepts these things happen

Anything to stay competitive in the endomondo commuter challenge...Cardy George wrote: I 'accidentally' added 10k's to my ride home tonight. I do my long rides in the morning. Being late for work is better than being late home (shorter work days are the bonus)

Seems like it. Hopefully I'll keep the run going, but I suspect winter might mess with things. Up to 2300km now.Hergest wrote:Well done to you. Looks like the race is on this year

It's working. Going at that rate, you might be revising your target upwards.RobertL wrote:I have nothing to add. I just want to see my little progress bar.

I might. But I am planning a month or so off the bike on an overseas trip later this year, so I have to factor that in too.g-boaf wrote:It's working. Going at that rate, you might be revising your target upwards.RobertL wrote:I have nothing to add. I just want to see my little progress bar.

I don't know about the others, but my weekday rides when I'm on my own are done pretty fast, because I get home late and want to get 90-100km done and dusted then get to sleep at a sensible time. I have everything ready to go.JohnJoyner wrote:I wish I had the time to ride some of the kms you blokes do... Very jealous....

4 rides per week, 440km last week.
