Christmas loot

Postby find_bruce » Tue Dec 26, 2017 9:59 am

So what bike related Christmas loot did you score?

Excluding gifts I bought myself, cycling score so far was a couple of pairs of rivelo socks, navy & red which don’t match my jerseys, so I got a good excuse for new jerseys too

I scored some nice new ultegra pedals. I may have ordered, paid for and collected them myself, but Mrs Wing put her name on the card, so I think they qualify as a gift.

Missed delivery of bike parts by Santa and I blamed parents for leaving alcohols for Santa and he didn't made it to my place.

My FSA Powerbox crank, and then an unplanned Kenisis Racelight 4S frame as a replacement for the Liscio.

Going through the build process, but slowed by Flu bug caught on Xmas eve !!

Oh, a Tacx Neo. That was my own acquisition. Not so sure it can be considered a gift, that is damned hard work. But it is good. :)

So I've got my own little training studio set up permanently, one bike is on the trainer all the time.

Some Cycology shirts, socks and undies  from the newly opened store at Warringah Mall.

Based on one shirt I don't think Sarina is a fan of e-Bikes

New scars on the elbow due to an ill advised trip to the local bmx track. It doesn’t matter how expensive your electronic carbon whiz bang bike is, a bmx’er it makes you not

Fly 6, new Tickr HR monitor and a couple of Wiggle vouchers. May also have bought a new Scott Foil with some insurance money which is due this week, so didn't quite make it for Xmas. I may have snuck in a sneaky order for a Garmin Vector
power meter on my work credit card so the missus doesn't find out .

I was a good boy, only because I picked up a new pair of Mercury 30mm CF wheels two weeks prior to Christmas and at a quarter of their normal price. :D

Spannermonkey, lovin' your bike rest! Your taste in art is impeccable!

I have a smaller, purple variant named "Rusty" sitting in my office and an even smaller female rabbit woman version perched on the dining table, not to mention an even smaller (than the rabbit woman) bronze which is the dog man and the rabbit woman riding a tandem bicycle.

The good news: My wife bought me a Castelli kit for Christmas - jersey, knicks and gloves.

The bad news: my sister is O/S at the moment, and my family is not doing "Christmas" until she returns at the very end of January. So I have to wait...

Nice bike, but it looks like your seat stays spend too much time in the oven.

A kind of delayed Christmas gift/Christmas bonus. The boss decided I needed a Samsung Gear 3 watch/device for work and leisure. A good thing I own the business!
