Re: How long can you ride for?
The wind whistling between his ears. I lack the discipline to do more than half an hour with my bike on the trainer - it's too boring Richard
Here Here
Spin bikes are boring. I love the bit where they say he averaged 20kmph Donald BCC give us some more bikeways fore safe travel!!!!
Upgrade the NCL now QR!!!!!! http://nakedcyclistbrissy.blogspot.com/ My views do not represent any organisation I may be apart of unless otherwise stated
I use the exercise bike at the gym, cause I can push a bit harder on account that I don't have to save some energy to get home.
But 20 minutes is about the limit, I get bored, plus no wind you get really really sweaty. On the real bike I go for up to an hour without getting off, but I normally take breaks pretty often. 85 hours, I wonder how his iPod charging team kept up...?
oh god how boring!!! Last time I used a stationery bike was on my queensland business trip and only because I didn't have my bike there. Only lasted 20 minutes before I was bored out of my mind. On my bike on the roads I was doing 6-7hr rides once a week and off road probably 3-4hrs. I'm not looking forward to going back to uni in the sense that I won't have the time to do rides that long anymore.
Yeh, I thought similar, I assume this is based on the distance travelled by the rear wheel. The amount of resistance would be different to the road. I've got stuff on ebay
They are called 'studio cycles' in Byron Bay and come complete with video so that you have something interesting to watch and I wondered about the view I had on my bike on Cape Byron while these knuckle heads paid for a new bike every month to ride a studio cycle.
We sure are a weird mob. Robert
That's what I'm thinking too. Could it be a 15 minutes thing? Life's too short for spin classes.
I'm not into spin classes. Those who are benifit from having a set time to exercise with someone barking commands at them, providing motovation.
