Back Into It Today
Postby gorilla monsoon » Mon Apr 16, 2018 10:05 am
I'm looking at 20km but hope to push that out a bit if the bits that were repaired will let me. Not tackling any hills just yet either - they will come in a week or so.
Wish me luck but please don't say "break a leg" .

First ride back I managed 20km into a headwind, was looking to average around 17.5km/h but actually went to 20.7km/h. A couple of inclines but nothing that looked like a hill.
Second ride I lifted distance and average speed but stayed on the flat stuff.
Physio says he's happy with the progress and says I can ride my usual tracks in a week or two.
The biggest problem is that sitting doing nothing over the extended Christmas break meant eating anything that moved (not helped by three weeks in Langkawi recently with loads of good cheap food and booze) so now I have a few kgs to unload but I don't reckon that will be too difficult.
