Visiting...

Postby yank » Fri Jan 26, 2007 11:36 am

I am a roadie coming down from the States to visit some friends in Sydney. I'm looking for some advice on renting a road bike for long rides in/around the area. Most places require that I bring my own pedals. Is there such a business in Sydney?

Thanks,
Steve

I can't help for Sydney Steve. This question has been discussed before somewhere on here so have a dig around while you're waiting for answers - I do recall that there is a shop that'll hire you a roadie.

Hi Steve,

Sorry I don't know the answer to your question, but you may find that a store called Cheeky Monkey (look them up on the web), may be able to point you in the right direction. If memory serves me right, they rent out ordinary bikes and should be able to advise.

Cheers, Michael.

You may also like to check out Centennial Park Cycles who are not too far from the city. Their website is www.cyclehire.com.au I haven't had anything to do with them, but they advertise road bike hire.
