The Alps Epic is an iconic mountain bike stage race inspired by the Trans Alps, Cape Epic and even the Tour de France! It includes 6 unique and diverse racing stages over 5 days. Held annually in the NSW Snowy Mountains, the event “tours†the region stopping at a new town each night. Dates for 2009 are 15-19 March.
The 2009 event has 6 diverse stages made up of cross country, endurance and time trial stages. Check out the course here.
Open to local and international individuals and teams it is the perfect way to see the Australian high country in summer. Elite or recreational riders are catered for in the scenic and varied stages. Bring friends or family as a support crew or register for the supported option provided by the organisers.
Entries are LIMITED! There are 200 places for individual riders with their own support crew and 50 places for individual riders selecting the Support Package provided by the organisers. Entries are now open!
