I would have cracked again on OBR today if you hadn't been there offering some encouragement and advice, much appreciated.
That middle section is just vicious I was very happy to see the top.
Todays ride and the Katoomba ride with all the guys are easily the most satisfying moments for me so far on a bike.
Cheers

Kev.
Kev when I can keep up with you at Regatta and Lansdowne I'll consider C grade.

Pete, wouldn't care to put together a Sat ride report while you're on the PC? Needn't be original, just cut and paste from some of the old ones. No one will notice!
That was a great ride by Chuck. Finally exorcised the demons of OLB. I know how he feels!!

Thanks Pete, yeah first thing Jeff did when we got back to the shop was bestow a HTFU band upon mesandman wrote:Well done Chucky, u rock, excellent climb.....You'll have to hit up Jeff for a HTFU band....I gave him all the bands I had and he's the gatekeeper...
Sandy you're right it was good to put the demons to bed. I was very anxious before the ride and about half way up, at the point I tanked the first time around, I had the awful feeling I was going to fail again.
Luckily Bandito doesn't allow that to happen when you ride with him

Jim I think Addict did that ride a couple of months ago. He made mention of some crazy magpie up there.
Edit: Actually it was Stated who did the ride, see here....

If I go I'll be driving Sandy because I start work at 2.20 on Thursday so I'll need to get home asap once Bandito has finished his torture test .NotFlyingScot wrote:Chuck , are you riding up to Penrith or driving?
