I'm planning to ride the M7 cycleway soon and would like to know which of the 62 exits listed on the WestlinkM7 website cycleway map have access to shops and/or toilets.

Hi L'iota,
- 1km down the road from the start at Seven Hills on Abbott Rd. you have Hungry Jacks, Red Rooster and a servo
- 200m down Sunnyholt Road you have KFC, Maccas etc.
- A couple streets from the Dean Park exit there is a group of shops
- 500m along Richmond Rd you have a servo
- 500m along Horsley Dr you have a servo
- There is a tree with a great view at Eliz. Dr
- 500m from the end at Prestons you have Maccas and a servo
I'm sure there are plenty more. These are just the ones that I can think of ATM.
Enjoy the ride

i was just about to reply, but you save me the effort.
Good work Spiz
The Maccas at prestons is the most popular as its the easiest to get to i guess.
Go to end of cycleway and keep going along the footpath and its rigth ahead of you. You will see the big " M " anyway from a few km's out.
There is a bubbler at around the halfway Point (near the M4) that you can fill up at also
Enjoy the ride

At Cowpasture Rd, there is a servo and KFC about 500 m SW on Cowpasture Rd (near Hoxton park Rd) - wouldn't recommend eating KFC, but they do tend to have clean toilets. Also a servo about 500 m on northern side of Cowpasture Rd, but access via road shoulders is a bit dodgier.Spiza wrote:Hi L'iota,

At Horsley Drv, there is also a servo only 100 m west on Wallgrove Rd google view - on weekdays there is a take-away shop with sandwich bar etc.,. and restaurant.
At Rooty Hill, there are shops open during business hours on Rooty Hill Rd near the station - about 150 m from cycleway (don't know about toilets though).
At the Richmond Rd Dean Park exit, there's also a Red Rooster on the eastern side - about 200 m from cycleway.
Googlemaps is a good way to find businesses. http://www.toiletmap.gov.au/ is a way to get clues about toilets, but unfortunately with many public toilets, opening hours can be problematic.
Wouldn't it be nice to have some proper toilets at Eliz Drv and another bubbler ? Not sure that the tree option works too well for the ladies (particularly with lack of privacy around Eliz Drv).
Cheers

If you are a professional rugby league player, then it doesn't matter where you do it. Just make sure its in full view of the public.
