hi all, Sat arvo i have a about 3hrs free and will be at Megalong Valley. Can anyone recomend a good loop of approx 2-3hrs duration, including some hills (would like to include megalong valley obviously), will probably park the car at blackheath or somewhere near. Thanks all

Couple of Megalong repeats then out to Mt Vic, quick shandy at the pub, then back to Blackheath! Purrfect, LOL!

why all the crap about HTFU i need my car to do a job in Megalong Valley, then have a few hrs free till i can go back there. I thought about asking for some hills to ride up was HTFU enough. Tough crowd to please it seems. Maybe the cycleway is sufficent HTFU for some

I'm just jealous!. Anyone ever race the cross country course in Megalong Valley back in 98/00....  ?.

Yes but you'd expect a downhill course there...a bloody XC course...  .Well there was a 10 minute downhill run in the course...but then there was a 30 minute climb  .

i ended up doing this ride http://connect.garmin.com/activity/75117233 nice area to ride in, quite roads, courteous drivers. Climb is not so bad, not overly steep (max about 13%) but does sit on 8-10% for most of it. Bit chilly up there, had long sleeve jersey and vest on and was just right

I was looking for a route from Jenolan caves to Blackheath without using the HWY. I think it exists but will require a mountain bike
