I love the way that, to a man with a hammer, every problem is a nail. So Duncan Gay's gonna build more roads and infrastructure ... as though that's going to do anything except attract more drivers in their single-occupant cars, and shift the problem further downstream.
If he's serious about resolving Sydney's gridlock he needs to something about keeping people out of their cars in the first place, to reduce the demand.
Duncan, get into a partnership with Gladys Berejiklian and do something meaningful about the apalling absence of public transport infrastructure on the Northern Beaches and north-western Sydney.
