accident spit bridge yesterday

Anyone hear about the acident on Spit Bridge yesterday...apparently the front rider of a group had a very heavy fall and was ambo'd off.

Hope he's ok but it sounded really nasty.

Not sure what group it was.
I'm not so much a cyclist..more of a sit down comedian
