First commute without a base layer and fingerless gloves this morning. Sticky!

Don’t know about you, but I found the traffic terrible this morning. Left about the usual time, and yet there were queues of cars in places where I never usually see them at the time I pass through. Made for a slow trip. Still, the weather was very pleasant, cool, sunny and with no wind. Quite a contrast to last Friday night, when it was cold and crazily windy. Looking forward to a much better run home tonight.

Really? I was thinking the opposite but I head into work (near Hornsby) at the back of 6am and home around 4pm and it was quieter than usual both ways.
It's a bit warmer here than Scotland isn't it!

Small world.. I live in Hornsby and commute to Sydney Olympic Park. Normally leave around 06:45. Usually the only place I encounter any significant traffic is heading through West Ryde and crossing over the railway line at Meadowbank. Yesterday there was virtual gridlock at these places with long queues of stationary vehicles. At Meadowbank I got off the bike and walked over railway bridge to get onto the cycleway to Rhodes. And, to add insult to injury, I found the newly opened waterside cycle path blocked at Rhodes by a rubbish lorry emptying the bins along the foreshore.. I think the cosmic forces had decided to give me a tough day.. Fortunately the run home was back to normal :)

Good ride in this morning - foggy when I left home but the sun was out when I got to work. Last night was a good ride as well.

The shared path on the M7 is getting more riders all the time - looks like it is going to be a nice warm summer.

My turn to notice heavy traffic - stationary only 2 km from home, which meant I have pretty much 8 km of riding past the traffic jam. Ah well that's one of the major reasons for riding a bike :D

Enjoy today cause the forecast for tomorrow doesn't look so great

Good weather this morning - looking poor at best now - will be riding with the wet weather gear on the way home.

Hope it is better tomorrow because the wife and kids will have to ride to school as I am dropping the car off to the mechanic for a service. Riding in the rain doesn't bother me but the kids don't have a shower at school that they can use. :(

Weather was beautiful today, I didn't have time to appreciate it though because I was smashing myself so hard on the way to and from Waterfall... Much more enjoyable walking around the cliffs at Bondi this afternoon.

It does look nice this morning - shame I couldn't find the time this morning to go for a ride. It would make up for getting very wet yesterday.

Fabulous morning :D
Hazy near on the coast. I had a motorist yell at me at La Perouse at 5.45 am to "get some rego plates".

Agree - good morning for a ride. Enjoyed it.

Humanbeing - glad to see you have seen our "friend" Allan Jones - next time you see him you should ask him to get a real job and maybe he may work on those neural pathways and engage the pea between his ears :?  .

I suppose I'd be cranky too if I listened to Alan Jones every morning.
Some motorists get annoyed because of the huge grin on my face when I ride my bike

Tough for them to take seeing someone enjoying life so much on two-wheels with nothing more than pedal power. :)

Alan Jones must be the radio equivalent of Piers Akerman. Both of them big piles of bile and hatred. And they both cause me to have steam coming from my ears.

And on the smiling front, how could anyone not be grinning with the weather this morning! Average temperature 22.4°C according to my Garmin - just beautiful. 8) Really enjoyable morning for a ride and I had great fun. :) No magpies either today.
