Nice one Pete,B grade for your first race is keen ...and 6th place is even better.I think Oakville will give the grimpeurs a bit more chance...the winter course has a couple of good little climbs.
Talking of winter!...it is supposed to be spring here,my second club ride today and I had icicles hanging off my nose before it warmed up this morning...and it only warmed up because a couple of thunderstorms came thru...and I still saw at least 100 cyclists out!.I am not sure if I have had a dry ride since arriving...come on Summer!.

Hey Toolong
Thanks for the feedback, I think Oakville will be more of a challenge. I've not ridden there but the ground is not as flat so it will be a little more fun. 14 laps of the Regatta circuit is kinda boring
Cycling in France is like Football/Soccer to the Aussies, just so popular. Impressive that they pulled 100 cyclists together in that temperature. I rode in Canberra with a few guys last week, we had ice forming on the gloves but nothing like icicles off the nose Even though the weather has been unkind to you, you really sound like you're at home....cant wait to hear more riding stories from you !!!!
Cheers..Pete

Lucky Don. I was actually ready to go for a night ride tonight (and got the Corsa wet too) but decided to turn around after only about 1 km because it started light and got heavy fast..... Maybe tomorrow morning .

Nope its p1ssing down!
1.5 hrs on M7 track this morning and only saw 2 bikes and a guy sitting on a armchair with two wheels!
Both of the REAL bikes where female too!!!
Have also just learnt that those torpedo 7 booties do nothing to stop water spraying up under your shoes feet still ended up saturated

If the R-1 rule is broken, what happens to N+1?
