Where you with another rider heading east, maybe just before 9am? I might have been seen you before I turned off. That rain was quite heavy. Ended up with very wet shoes and socks, along with everything else soaked.

Enough of this rain already! :( I really thought I might have outrun the rain - but not so, final stretch it absolutely belted down. Totally drenched. And I noticed the rear brake was slightly off centre and dragging.
Were you on the northern side of the Parramatta River heading east this morning while it was raining? I was heading home and was sure it was you coming the opposite way just after the newish section of elevated paths just before UWS. Bloody miserable bit of rain, just enough to make things really slippery and soak your shoes.

No, only went up to Bella Vista then fairly fast down to Chandos Rd when the weather started getting dodgy, then back through Prospect Dam. As soon as it started raining I tried to get home as fast as possible in the conditions.

Shoes are near an air-con vent with newspaper stuffed in them.

I see. You have a doppelgänger :D Either that or the rain clouded my vision.........

Lovely now though, the fresh breeze should dry out everything.

Yep that was most likely me, looking miserable in the rain :). We're you in a club kit?

Blue/grey kit. A small group of us that ride/train together wear it.

Darn! Thought I had managed to sneak a dry ride in despite the threatening skies. At Darling Harbour the rain came down & I was drenched by the time I cross the CBD. Oh well at least I was cool when I reached the office.

I was dry when I rode in with Natalie this morning but then had a coffee. Felt like I had waited for the rain to start. Perfect bad timing! Then at the lights I'm pretty sure they missed my right turn cycle on purpose just to make me stand in the rain.

Had stopped by the time I got home though. Only a shower

The voices in my head were singing this morning "A little bit of rain keeps the idiots away"

Yep, there were a few rumbles out here. I'd planned on going out around then but put it off until 9 when the weather had cleared. It's lovely now if a bit breezy.

Anyone out in it today? I stuck my head out and the smell of smoke and haze is unbelievable out my way. Don't think I want to be sucking in the air while riding in this.

I rode up Mt Bowen this morning. On the way out to Richmond it was really smoky but never really enough to clog up the lungs. Halfway up Bowen you climbed above the smoke which was a relief as once you get to the steep parts you are sucking in air like nobodies business and it might have hampered the breathing then.

I didn't find it too bad. Fairly okay, bit of light drizzle. Nothing too major.

Just when you thought it was never going to happen Winter arrives. Cold, damp and rather miserable this morning. I got in 5 minutes before the proper rain started so that was good. Now time to rug up.

I'm going to try for 200km tomorrow for that reason. Seems like I'll be very warmly dressed.

Very cold this morning.

Minimum of 0°C recorded, average 11°C.

Bitterly cold this morning. I started riding faster to warm up, only to then suffer very cold feet. :(

I was muttering about the rain this morning, but listening to the wind blow I think I got the better of it
