yes, even I took my bike out today

well it was bloody dark this morning on a run out to duffys forest and back - wasnt light really until we headed back down the pacific highway - nice and cool though

Today was indeed glorious. Fingers crossed that the recent humidity has all been blown away, not to return until next summer. I did a ride down into and out of Bobbin Head at 7 this morning with an invigorating chill as i flew down towards the water. I was one of hundreds enjoying the beautiful morning.

I did 80 odd kays out to the M7 at 7 this morning. Cool and cloudy with just a very slight breeze and one passing shower made for a lovely morning. I shall be glad when daylight saving ends next weekend though to get the extra morning light.

Whizzing through the western suburbs at 5am, perfect temperature, no rain, no traffic, great ride to work.

Well I am booking nice weather tomorrow. I will be doing West Head after school drop off.

Forecast is for rain, so on the usual form for the weather bureau you should be fine

BOM indicated 2-8mm. 24.8mm in 30min during my ride to work. The cover blew off the top of my back pack. So I and everything was wet. Wettest ever I think, in spite of guards and booties.

Tell me about it. I think I fried my Garmin this morning.

The menu navigation joystick's rubber boot has a hole in it. Now NONE of the buttons operate. Can't turn it off. Stuck in the "poor satelite reception" actions menu.

Currently sitting in front of my desktop computer's fan. Hoping it comes good, or it's gonna be a swap for a reconditioned unit.

I must be the only one who arrived at work in Nth Syd this morning without a single drop of rain falling.
I came out of the shower 10 min later and it was bucketing down!
Unless it stops in the next 2 hours, it will be a wet ride home, but at least my clothes are dry to start with.

I missed the rain this morning by about 4 minutes. I arrived at the yard in Auburn with 1 or 2 drops of drizzle, no more. While i was changing out of my cycle shoes into workboots the heavens opened. Lucky or what?

The run home this arvo was under bruised, malevolent clouds but it stayed dry. Fingers crossed for the morning.

Nope, not the only one...I rode up through north sydney and to neutral bay about 30mins before the rain hit! Could see the lightning illuminating the city all the way from parramatta/mays hill on the ride in. It was pretty impressive.

I... did not miss the rain, Arrived to work soaked to the bone, and I was running too late from the traffic to have a shower. Annoyingly I had to put through a second Wiggle order for a decent winter / rain jacket (First one I put in on Monday for new shoes), could have saved myself some dosh if I'd thought to order them at the same time. Dredding the ride home, it's not stopped raining all day.

No rain this morning Nice to not be dealing with wet kit.

Yuck! Heavy rain when I went out this morning. I was totally soaked.

The rain this morning was really localised, a mate and I set off from home at Guildford West at 7 to ride the canal cycleway plus a bit more out to the M7, down to the end southwards, back up to the Windsor Road and then back the way we came, 106km in all over 3 and a half hours. Quite a few times we would come across wet patches where it had obviously rained in the last half hour but it wasn't until the last couple of kilometres around Greystanes that we got caught in any of the rain. I'm glad we only had a short distance left to go, it would have been a pain if we had caught the rain on the way out.

Nice and cool for riding in until the rain came so it was a great morning's ride all in all.

Hooray for the end of daylight saving! Out at 6 this morning with plenty of light for a couple of hours riding. Beautiful day too.
