Great morning out at Calga for a TT. Was very foggy driving in but the course itself was pretty clear and sunny by the time I started, temperature was cool which was perfect for hard riding too.

Yeah - lovely morning for a ride, except my bike is unhappy. Something went wrong with the right brifter so I only had about 4 gears at the back. Fortunately they were ones useful for climbing hills so I just kept going.

Can't wait for Di2... Trek will get repairs soon enough.

Daylight saving, meh ! Best thing this morning was the complete lack of wind - right through til Midday.

My attempts to adjust my 22 month old todler's body clock were unsuccessful. At least I should have no problem getting him up in time for day care tomorrow

Enjoyed a lovely roll up to Pie in the Sky on Sunday morning. Perfect temperature, nice sunshine, and no wind. Alas, some bits of technology weren’t cooperating - my Garmin Edge is in for a warranty claim to repair a faulty reset button (failed one week after the one year warranty period, but at least they are honouring it). I have Strava on my iPhone, but it crashed the phone completely after only recording for 2.5 km, so for the first time in a long time I rode without any technological monitoring at all – I didn’t even have a watch with me. Nevertheless it was a good run and I undoubtedly smashed a couple KOMs on the way :D

Apologies to the rider I passed near Mt Kuringai on the return leg. I had a good bit of speed up after a downhill section and given the speed differential, the pass was probably a bit too close to be polite.

Tempe railway underpass was flooded today. Other than the higher levels of pedestrian traffic thanks to daylight saving ending, it was a good day to be out.

The stars were out when I left Marrickville this morning. By Kingsford it was drizzle and then rain pretty much all the way up the coast and back to Surry Hills.
Fantastic ride
Have a great ride,
Peter

Another beautiful autumn morning. Sunshine & no wind... Perfect conditions. :D
Hoping the clouds I see out my office window disappear for the ride home.

Beautiful morning :D
Pity my ride was cut short. Stripped thread on the drive side pedal made progress difficult.
Train home from Heathcote. :(
Have a great ride,
Peter

The best time of the year i reckon. Clear blue skies, fresh air at 6.30 in the morning, little to no breeze, absolutely ideal for 3 or 4 hours on the bike and then get home to think about mowing the lawn and then thinking some more and deciding to spend the day watching others mow their lawns and let your own grow a little bit longer this week. :D

Nice day today, and pretty good evening too. I had a fun ~35km ride tonight. Now I've got the fit correct on the new bike, I'm really enjoying it. 8)
