I was considering coming for tomorrow mornings ride but with the weather I thought i'd post on here to see if everyone was still keen. With a 50% chance of some rain for tomorrow according to Bureau of Meteorology (http://www.bom.gov.au/nsw/forecasts/sydney.shtml" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), I was wondering if it was still happening etc :?:

For now, the ride will still be ON, as the forecast isn't that bad. 1mm of rain is barely a sprinkle, so it should be ok.

But of course, use common sense. If it's absolutely pouring tomorrow, then the ride will be pushed to next weekend. Keep watch, I'll put out the final word tomorrow by 7am.

Hmm, I've got a few hours to build the Superbike. I could, but I probably won't. Since it's still unridden, I'll build it properly in one go.

I'll still race you though.

That was an eventful ride. Lots of skids and a couple tubes.

Paul wasn't the only one with a dead tyre. My tyre had a lot of life left in them, and now a chunk has been ripped away. I guess it was a good thing I didn't slid on the same part again.

Good to see you and Recumbenteer. I would have liked to join you today, but unfortunately other commitments prevented it.

Ha! Reminds me of me yoof. Many hours I spent by the side of the road gazing at a big hole in my tyre.

On the topic of retro bikes, has anyone been past Clarence Street Cyclery this week and seen the Clamont in the window?

It is on loan to them at the moment from its owner.

Does anyone know their way around Lane Cove National Park? I've never been through it, and we could always visit Cicli Spirito too

I`ve ridden in Lane Cove NP 2 years ago with Bike North.

Info in BN calendar rides. 21/6/15 Park to Park ride. http://www.bikenorth.org.au/calendar-page.html If starting from Bicentennial Park, just follow from 20/6/15 Meadowbank to Bobbo route to Epping.

Just make a route that you like. Have fun and good luck on your ride. I won`t be in.
ID please? What ID? My seat tube ID is 27.2mm or 31.6mm depending on what bikes I ride today.thanks...

Yes, I died that day. It was a cold morning.

Now we need to find someone who knows their way around.
