Hi guys,

Do not wait for me as I am not sure if I will make it on time from Glenfield as it is quite dark at 6 in the morning.

Hey Moodeex, meet you at the shops at around 5:40am, I've arranged to meet Paul (Hergest) at Centenary rd at 6:05-6:10am, so that should give us enough time. Is that ok?

Hi guys, going to have to bail. Relatives missed their flight to Sydney and have been rescheduled to arrive tomorrow morning, so I have to pick them up from the airport.

Enjoy the ride!

Good to have somewhat of an advantage in numbers on the roads today, the only risk imposed on us were ourselves.. lots of gear, some idea. Got caught in the rain from Rookwood Cemetery back home, so will be pulling apart the bike to clean once the sun comes out.

Thanks to our various ride leaders today

See you on the next one... classic bike show ride to Tempe/Canterbury Velodrome from SOP via Cooks River I take?

I think that's a plan, Minh. I will likely have soccer with the boy that day, but would be keen to head in after that. If I bring the van and no kids, I can transport purchases for you. We'd have to check timing, though.

I echo Minh's comments, many thanks to those who lead us through unknown territory. Those of us who continued on to SOP got caught in the rain too so i assume it was all from one big shower.

I've just been looking at the map on Strava. That was an 'interesting' detour through Sydney Uni

We're also organising a ride on Sunday 29th. Starting at 10am at the velodrome, heading to SOP and back, with lunch at the Concordia Club. Social pace, all welcome.

Austyn is for_sleep, who never posts here.
It's gratifying to see Quang is still sorting it out on peoples' names. :)

Destined to miss 3rd Tempe Extravaganza in a row. Is that like the reverse of a Tea Party '3 strikes'? Do I get OUT of gaol next year?
We have a wedding to attend on Election Day, deep in the wilds of Nasho Park.
I hate weddings, hurrumph...

In other news, daughter and BF have moved in for... (months?), employer went kaput on Gold Coast. But she has a much better job back here.. the good news.
Upside is that the bicycles are on stands next to the Teev in the back room. I get to gaze at them as 'artworks'. Wife even says they look 'OK'. :cheesy:
Well, no, it's not a pushbike, otherwise I'd be pushing it...

Now we just need to find a trike for Recumbenteer to borrow! Although it's not too far to do on a wedgie.

I've got the 15 yr old trike, (it'll need a bit of TLC to get running, :?) or there's the 30 yr old steel 10 speed. :( ... after all it's a Retro Ride.....there's just the one issue of my bum & a wedgie saddle

I can lend you the sprung Brooks B67 off the Brom if you like :)

I thiink you'd be better off spending an evening or two in the garage fettling the old trike.

The gates for general public open at 11. Last year we left SOP at 10 am and made it easily
