Getting from Artarmon to Ashfield

Just wondering on the best route from Artarmon to Ashfield, want to ride home after rock climbing tomorrow night. Starting from Reserve rd in Artarmon.

I'm thinking of :

- Gore hill freeway
- West st
- Miller st
- Harbour bridge
- Pyrmont bridge
- Anzac bridge
- Lilyfield rd

Any suggestions? I've not riden much at all around north Sydney but once I get onto the harbour bridge I should be able to remember the rest of the way home.

You nailed it, that route is by far the easiest.

When I lived at Chatswood 12 years ago I would ride down burns bay road before joining the - no worries keeping up with traffic down the hill, but the route you picked looks a heck of a lot nicer than that, even though it does involve 55 stairs

When you come off the Harbour Bridge turn right and go down the hill onto Hickson Rd which will take you to the bottom of King St. Not necessarily faster but there aren't any many lights etc and the bike lane is not bad. I prefer that way to Kent St.
