Trek_Arty gave me some such equally BS excuse too ;)

I will work on you guys LEAVING point B at 5:40 Garmin Time. If you don't see a Black Madone 5.2 on the bike path, assume I'm coming like a steam train, or asleep. By Golly, that's a good range of possible activity.
Eon, I've PM'd you my mobile. :D

KOM on the full Wark descent, 6th on Col De Kurrajong - as well as PRs for the TTT out and back. Truly brutal day in the saddle. I was amazed we went so quick all day. Imagine if we trained LOL

Well done guys!! Wish I could have come... but if I had, I would have been the anchor, as I was feeling pretty bad yesterday. Hope to come next time.

Ehly, considering you had a cold, I'm sure you will smash 45 minutes next time. You did a great job of pushing yourself, I saw how you were suffering.

Anyway, Ehly and Xplora it was a great ride and I enjoyed completing the climb. But do we have to go so hard on the flat? If we don't TT out there and just go hard after Nth Richmond Bridge, I reckon we can improve our times...

I think our problem was that BR was a secret TT monster and wasn't struggling to maintain the proposed avg speed westward... Need a cafe in Kurrajong to enjoy the relax before starting the frantic sprint home to pretend we didn't run away all day

Always good to ride with other pps. You either push to get away or push to latch on. In my case it was both. On the first pinch i had a crack at getting up it, then blew up, then you caught me then it was survival mode, - I was way past my limit at your pace so absolutely blew up midway wark - not the best place to grind at 2-5km/h
Absolutely enjoyed the push bud. Always keen on trying to hang on .. :D

I was only kidding about the TTT, and i was glad that you we're behind BR - Xplora, cos you had to chase him down when he sprints to take a turn... lol.
Lets roll tempo next time so we can have a good crack at the beast.

Could stupid O'clock be a little less stupider O'clock? :)

My wife begrudging accepts being woken by me leaving at times starting with a 6 and occasionally a 5.... but I doubt she will talk to me for the next week if it starts with a 4!!

Vossy I am not sure how safe it would be to leave at 6 or 7. It is more civilised at home but it is pretty hairy up there. The drivers will treat you differently because you are clearly riding outside normal commute hours. Even then I got my worst shave ever from a degenerate coming home over the bridge.

Had not thought about that side of it. Are you talking Nth Richmond bridge? I've crossed that a few times now at 9-10 on a Saturday OK... but it only takes one nutter behind the wheel!! I normally go across there on the back of a line of traffic and try to draft the last car. Seems safer to go quick across there and get out of the way of traffic once over the other side.

Or is the problem area bellbird hill?

I did Springwood Rd up to Winmallee last saturday at around 9. I was surprised to only see 1 or 2 cars go past us up the steep section. It was a nice ride and I did not feel unsafe at any point up there..... but the M4 on the way back down!!!!???

Its the return ride at a later time thats a little sketchy .. saw Xplora centimetres away from being clipped by some idiot in a cage...
and to keep the peace at home and get my fix i return home about 9am. :)

get home early and make her scrambled eggs and toast and she'll want you to leave early every weekend. :D

5am Norwest or 5:15 Kellyville Mcrs. - there abouts.

Robbie who races a grade above me will come, and he's brining a mate stronger then he is, so I have a feeling that I am gonna get slaughtered.

Now you are scaring me off!! Is there someone coming I have a chance of keep up with? Is that Rob H from WPH out my way?

I am worried enough about making it up the hill when semi-fresh.... not sure I will if I am trashed when I get there!!

Haha thanks for pumping my tyres mate, but I've been chasing your KOM's around the burbs for nearly a year now without success. I'm a big time newb. Keen for a good hit out though! Will start topping up the sleep reserves tonight...will also be setting 3 alarms and making sure the No-doze is on the bedside table

I will start preparing my wife for this tonight. I am 50/50. Sounds like a great ride, and I hope to make it.

I will probably be coming up parsonage so meeting point A... unless I am late and sprint to point B!! Don't wait for me.

Who is everyone on Strava? Would be great to associate BNA user names with Strava user names. Mine is pretty easy to work out from my boring user name here. I know who Xplora, Eon, and Rogan are, but that is about it.
