I still have not come across supercoach. Maybe he's seen me and realises I do not need advice? :D

I keep thinking of this immortal exchange:

"Comments there from the supercoach...

Pearce off, Jack, Gibbs on...

Don't you tell me to..."

I'm hoping to get in some POETS Day riding on Friday if you are keen Greg. Might do laps to Richmond Road, half the world is riding before they hit Jack Daniels in the face.

I dunno - I might make it out there if you are going from the T-way at 6:15pm - otherwise I won't get there in time. Either that or maybe DGV. I'm putting in some big training kms this week (Tue/Wed/Thu) so if my legs are feeling crap, I'll go M7. 2x18min planned for today at 250w if I can manage it.

Heh - eventually you'll see him. He's not easy to get away from (for me at least) unless you take a diversion.

Don't talk yourself up too much. Everyone needs advice from the Supercoach! :P

And even if he thought you were that good, you're then worthy of his signature Super Close Wheel Sucking Maneuver

Twice now..I have been stuck with super-coach.... :-| .. He just appears out of nowhere.. you are riding along ..then next minute he is beside you..CLOSE ,touching your leg, giving you tips..... Super-coach loves a bit of close riding ... He also gets a bit "touchy feely" too..
Supercoach knows everything..just ask him..he will tell you. lol

He rides a Black "Jamis"

I was happy with an 80km loop to Prestons, Elizabeth Drive (up and down the hill), Bella Vista, Westmead and back yesterday. Really good weather for it too.

There was hardly anybody out there on the M7 last night - really surprising given the great weather.

Charles out at Rouse Hill Trek reckons the bad weather decimates business; I reckon people just lose the habit and it takes a couple days to get back into it.

At that point i cbf'd and watched all the Tattoo shows on 7mate, was good to get a bit of a rest as i have had the sniffles all week.

most people lose motivation very quickly, so a couple of days of rain, then some cloudy days and soon enough your finding very little excuses not to ride.
Much easier to get some motivation with sun beaming on you rather than thick big black clouds looking to spoil your day.

Yeah it was incredibly warm even at 9pm! :) I might see you over the weekend. Fingers crossed no rain tomorrow or I'll be doing millions of laps of Parramatta Park.

If only the weather this morning was as nice. It rained down heavily. Got to Westmead and turned around immediately.

I went out on the mountain bike with coops. Just slightly damp and a bit muddy. Good fun though :)

Nice. :)

I ended up going out a second time and finished off a 100km local loop in 3 hours. :) by the end I was wishing I didn't wear the windbreaker jacket - too hot!

Yeah I put on an undershirt before heading down to Lansdowne, had it on for 30 seconds before saying "no way". The path between Guildford and the reservoir is really good for intervals, nice and flat!
Although some brave soul was doing pushups on the path when I was heading home from the track, got to wonder if they realise that it's not a footpath ;)
