That was good fun this morning. I tried to burn away you guys up Elizabeth Drive hill - looked back to see Don and Phil in tow.

That was another really warm day - great for a long distance ride. I'll sleep well tonight. Don't think I've ever done 280km in a weekend.
Xplora wrote:Yeah I put on an undershirt before heading down to Lansdowne, had it on for 30 seconds before saying "no way". The path between Guildford and the reservoir is really good for intervals, nice and flat!
Although some brave soul was doing pushups on the path when I was heading home from the track, got to wonder if they realise that it's not a footpath ;)
I've seen that guy before, if it is the same person. Doing sit-ups or push-ups and once done, running, and running, and running, and running... Just wish he wouldn't do his makeshift gym workout on the path.

I'm well out of the loop on Tues night footpath racing. Is it still a happening thing? I was going to do the early morning SOP chop off tomorrow but I can't shake the sniffles so I can see myself snoozing through the 5am alarm. Any one planning on flogging themselves on the bike path tomorrow night? I'm keen to tag along.

Cheers
Rob

I might be old fashioned but if going a bit hard myself I use the Airzound on those sharp bends. It has saved many a rider an elbow to the head.... :)

Yeah it was a nice day - bit cloudy to start with but nice later on. :) Might be out there Thursday night from 6:15pm at the T-way bollards if I get home from work early enough.

Okay - no worries that's fine. As for the don't punish bit - no worries there, my legs have been so heavy and bad over the last week. I'm hoping they are good today. I guess that's the shock of a 450km week after having time off with injury and some slack winter weeks.

That hurt! Good job Greg. Keep an eye out, a lot of express trains out there. Kz and Trek nearly bumped last week, the Macarthur Legzzz were smashing it out as well. Couple other groups too.

The weather looks pretty mediocre today - if it is just light rain I'll still be out there regardless.

Edit: Looks stormy - if it hasn't cleared by 4:30pm - won't be riding.

Edit: still looking dodgy with the weather.

I'm giving up too - windy here in Western Sydney and the cloud looks threatening. :( bugger! Another time I guess.
