Can I put my name down? I have some special modifications for my crutches. Watch out for my turbo 55/11. Geez I'm looking forward to getting back on the bike.

I'm going to try to get there tonight by 6pm. If I can't I want to get out onto the cycleway anyway after a quiet recovery-type week.

Killa, nice to see you posting again ! If ur going to wipe us with your 55/11, call out beforehand so we can get out of the way ! Maybe we can get a kids trailer to throw you in for a bit to get that rush of wind over your face, that should help fast track your recovery
Cheers..Pete

Woohoo a kid's trailer.
I would laugh if I saw myself try and pedal a 55/11, even at my strongest it would be nigh on impossible
Bring on the wind over the face.

Hey guys, As I have no wet weather gear I'm going to have to give tonight a miss. I've kept my eye on BOM all afternoon and it doesn't look like this rain is going to let up . And before anybody says it I know I'm soft . I was looking forward to meeting Pete, Simon and zozza too.
BTW it sounds like Rainer and Don had fun yesterday .

There are cats and dogs out there. I like avoiding being moist most of the time . I'll join you guys at some stage (busy next Monday night).

Pity we didn't head out tonight, don't think the rain amounted to much Anyway spent a solid hour and a bit on the trainer doing interval work. Need to ready myself for Thursdays training ride with "the boys"
Cheers..Pete

I headed out just before 7pm and got 50k's in, the rain and wind stopped and it wasn't too cold with only a little tyre spray
