Is anyone heading out tonight since it rained last night ?
Yeh I'll probably head out if the rain stays away. I won't be able to keep up with you though Pete .

I hope to but wouldn't be at the starting point by 6pm. More like 7pm I reckon.

Hmm, we could ride at 7:00pm if you like..... however I don't have a front light, was going to borrow that from Don but he's not going. Hate to be the party spoiler, I might hit the trainer for a while tonight instead..Pains me not to go outside for a ride however Carol has just gotten off night shift and I think I need to stay home even if its only to make a crapload of noise on the trainer
Cheers..Pete

I bought a JetBlack unit. Has the variable resistance device on it, cable clips onto bars. Bought in Adelaide shop for $220AUS. Resistance is ok though I've found that I just leave it on the hardest setting and vary the gear and cadence for now. Will have to fire up the spinerval DVD and git it a whirl
Cheers

I met up with Boognoss last night and rode my usual 50Km Norwest to Horsley Dr return. I had trouble keeping up even though he rode at half pace so I could . I really need to ride more. Anywho, thanks for the company Simon and sorry for the slow pace.

Nice to meet you too Spiro. I wasn't exactly at half pace, but it was a nice cruise for a change. Riding solo I can never hold back and not push myself to the limit . Riding and chatting is great. On a lighter bike you'll be faster .

c'mon Simon, admit it, you were struggling to keep up with Spiro and just made out that you were taking it easy

LOL, nah it would be too hard to be going flat out and trying not to look like I was dying . I'm blaming Spiro for my desire to add a MTB to my "collection". I'm never satisfied with what I have....
I really hope to get out on the cycleway with you guys in the future at the normal time. Just hard when I don't commute like you do Don!

Ok maybe it was closer to quater . On a lighter bike you'll be faster .
The bike could be as light as a feather but I don't think it's going to make much of a difference with 90kg sitting on top of it .

Nope definitely not a quarter (and no, it wasn't less than that either ).
I'm about 85kg on a good day. I just moved most of it into ridiculously bulky leg muscles (IMHO) at the gym before I discovered the joy of being outside and yelled at my random motorists . You should see my "before" pictures from 2003-2004 when I was about 3 or 4 clothes sizes larger. Scary.
You did well mate!!
