A friend of mine is organising the following;

Team 360' Cycling Team are organising a charity ride for the victims of these horrific typhoon in the Philippines, all donations proceeds goes to the victims and those who are helpless in these massive scale of catastrophe.

Time
Saturday 16th November
Registration will start at 6:00 am - $20
Depart 7am
Return approx 9am

Location
Rooty Hill car park in front of the skatepark which is along the Station St. Rootyhill, Sydney

Route
Towards Windsor then back to Rootyhill
Easy pace, guessing the distance is 45k

Refreshment will be provided after the ride

Contacts
Boysie Leopando 0408 971 534 (organiser)
Michael Cabreros 0481 252 842 (he's in my FB friends)
If the R-1 rule is broken, what happens to N+1?

Have they contacted OzPinoy Roadies? Sounds like a good thing to combine with (as they as a Philo riding group).

Thanks for this MB, we really appreciate it.

Xplora, every Filo group I know is lending their help including OzPR, TKS, Bandits, Pajakeroos, The KangaZilla community, Patriots, 360D etc. Local businesses like Jaz My Waffles coffee shop, Eddie Salas Cycles, Kangazilla and others pledge to help too. Hopefully the TNFRs can join too!

This was a great success. More than 100 riders turned up, collectively raising over 4thousand dollars for the relief effort. Thanks to those who joined, a truly unified ride! (Rheicel, nice seeing you there bud)

Thanks also to generous sponsors : Eddie Salas Cycles (Eddie), Kangazilla Bike Shop (Malcolm), Blackman Cycles (Owen), Jaz my Waffles coffee shop (Jaz).

Special mention to the organizers for the awesome job in preparing the event (thanks to the spouses who volunteered to man the registration desk)

...great ride! Most important is to help in our own little way while having some fun!
