Would like to get my bike serviced. It's only 4 mths old and has only done about 750km but hasn't been touched service-wise since new.
Bought at Velosophy which I recently discovered to have closed down, there goes the "bring it in at 3 mths for a tune-up" plan :-/
Wheels need truing/spoke tensioning and a couple of other things I've never done/am not confident doing. Plus I guess everything needs tightening.
Can anyone recommend a LBS with good workshop facilities? Rather than a place that charges $99 to wipe the bike over and that's about it?
Choices I can get to easily:
- 99Bikes Artarmon ($59 basic service)
- Northside Cyclery Chatswood
- Top Ride Cycles - Top Ryde
- Renegade Cycles Lane Cove ($79 service doesn't include truing).
- Park Bikes Olympic Park

from that list - Park bikes without a doubt.
they do a good job, happy to throw in extras for nothing ie. " got any of those bidon cage bolts ?".
great mechanics and coffee next door.

Velofix in Rozelle are fantastic. Fixed things on my bikes that other shops couldn't get right. Very helpful.
