Old Windsor Rd - NW Sydney

Old Windsor Rd - NW Sydney

Apologies if the thread already exists,

FYI, the bike track between Rouse Hill and Windsor is a bit horrid at the moment after all that rain on Sunday night.

Fair amount of rocks and mud across the track and at some intersections. Nothing new really, its normally pretty messy.. It's just that little bit more dangerous now if you hit a mud patch and not see it.

Couldn't you just ride on the road shoulder? That's what I've done a few times. Early in the morning it isn't too bad.

haha yeah. i know. I've done it a couple of times but i tend to ride in the evening when traffic towards windsor is heavy.

the amount of brain dead people who walk along that path amazes me. just in their own little world walking towards you in the middle of the track..

Confirmation that the mud and gravel also extends into the Breakdown lane, and is dangerous there as well.

To be fair, this is typical pedestrian behaviour. Arguably typical human behaviour too!

That's why I prefer on the road. Cars are more predictable. Sometimes annoying but predictable!
