MTB'er Moving to Sydney

We are thinking about moving over to Sydney (Manly) from the UK, i been riding on the Peak District and North Wales and attempted a 54km XC marathon recently. I was wondeing does anyone have any good local technical loops (start at a pub, end at the pub routes is always good) i can attempt? and also any MTB club details so i can start to get to grips with XC, epic rides and messing around when we move?
