From Northern Rd stage

Copy`n`paste full page below.
Night work to install cyclist detour signage for The Northern Road
upgrade, Glenmore Parkway to Jamison Road from Thursday, 31
August 2017
The Australian and NSW governments are jointly funding this work as part
of the $1.6 billion The Northern Road Upgrade between Narellan and South
Penrith.
Roads and Maritime Services is continuing work on The Northern Road and the M4 Motorway
interchange at Orchard Hills / South Penrith.
For safety reasons, there will be no cyclist access on The Northern Road between Glenmore Parkway
and Jamison Road and along the M4 Motorway between Kent Road and Mulgoa Road from Monday, 4
September 2017 until project completion in 2020.
In order to implement this closure, temporary signage will be installed for the suggested cyclist detours.
For safety reasons, and to minimise impact on motorists, sign installation will be carried out at night
between 7pm and 7am from Thursday, 31 August to Sunday, 10 September 2017 including
weekends, weather permitting. This work will be carried out for up to two night shifts per location along
the detour routes.
The attached map shows the location of the night work and the suggested detours.
