Hi All,
The weenie here... I'd just like to say I'm glad I didn't come today. I would've spent the rest of the day counseling you all after I would've dropped all your asses and would've had to sober you guys up from my awesomeness.
Glad to see so many people turn up and great to see so many new faces (fresh meat to drop).
love you all.

I would like to echo the sentiments of my fellow riders regarding todays BNA meet up and ride. Great to see you all and try to put faces to forum names, well maybe on our next outing. What a fabulous day for being out on our bikes and I was so glad that I did not bail.
While the original planned ride was ditched due to the lack of navigators familiar enough with the route, the alternative was a lot of fun and came about due to all the other events taking place in and around Melbourne today.
Thanks to everyone (except elmo ) for making this an enjoyable day, especially Missy.

I too would like to thank you all for an enjoyable ride today.
If nothing else I was most impressed how Missy could ride lead be talking intenseley with the rider out front with her and still make the group calls all without breaking tempo in the conversation. such multi-tasking is to be admired, even though she left the older (better) riders do the long miles out to Mordi and back. She missed a go on the bumper cars too.
I'd still be interested in a ride out west at some stage if anyone else is. At some point I'd like to try as much of the Worlds course as practicable from Melb to Geelong before October and the escape route from the city west is the key.
Cheers
Bill

Thanks everyone for a great day! Something very different for me, riding in a bunch in the 'burbs........Never stopped at so many traffic lights, (I do stop at them, just never seen so many on a bike).
I'm happy that I didn't have sleep in the arvo. My brother called with an invite for a barbie and a few beers, perfect timing
Looking forward to doing it again soon.

Yep great ride on a great day, good to meet some very nice humans instead of computer script thanks to Missy for organizing the road closures and the fair at mordialloc. it was a pleasure to hear some of the riders bike history and future dreams, look forward to a tour of the west next time.

Sounds like you guys had a good ride - I'll have to come along the next one (especially if it's earlier... 7am?!)
Might have passed you guys on my way back up Beach Rd as you were heading down to Mordi.. perfect day for a ride if you ask me!

Sorry I missed you guys,.
Personal nightmares prevented my attendance on the old real-steal.
I look forward to the next one if its NOT TOO EARLY!
Anyone interested in a twilight ride?
