Now that's precision. I take it the lads are arriving on the 7.51 train and have precisely 7 minutes to get themselves organised?Missy24 wrote:Meet at Epping Station at 7:58am

Sam your welcome to come... if you get there at 6:30ish you can have coffee.slian wrote:Hi everyone!
Sorry for last minute, but could I tag along as well?
I've been following on the forum but the rides previously had seem quite hard core to me. I've just done Beach Rd and trails around the CBD plus 100km in ATB. But this seems like the perfect opportunity and I'd be kicking myself if I dont go for it...so I'm IN!
I'm in Carlton, so could I join up from Brunetti at 7, Missy?
Sam.
I'll PM my mobile number

Does your mum wanna talk to my mum?kosmiccarbon wrote:I'll have to discuss it with the parents all depends on what they say!
When I was your age, our parents would all talk to each others parents to see if everything was cool... I'm 25 though turns out I'm old enough to be a parent.
If your mum or dad has any questions they are welcome to phone me, you have my mobile number, there are plenty more 'mature' people going along and we will stay as a team, as a youngster I promise you will never be by yourself.
If they are worried about you catching the train, which I would be, cause its epping, could they drop you off? I know its a long way and its early in the morning and all.
There are lots of options

Toilet break before humevale, we can stop sooner if need be, there are lots of trees.
Suggest you bring bars in your jersey though, or jam sandwhich, whatever you normally take.
This ride, I wouldn't plan on being home any earlier than 2pm... we have a very diverse group of people joining us who are all at different levels.

At Kinglake West you'll need to buy bottled water if you aren't game to try the water from the toilets which is labelled "Unsuitable for drinking" cos it's from a tank and is untreated. So bring some money.
Whittlesea to Kinglake West is about 1 hour with the main climb with no refill points along the way. All other stops are less than 1 hour or have refill points.
