When I do Audax rides this can be any sort of weather and usually in the cooler months, so space is needed for extra clothes, rain gear, spare lights, a few tools and a bit of food. As the bike is an old 27" I also carry a spare 27" folder, because coming across any spare if I do blow a tyre will be almost impossible.

Surely carrying a spare 27" folding bike is somewhat excessive
