Anyone had a positive experience getting a frame re-spaced by a local they can recommend?
I've got a beautiful old 531 frame I'd like to put into service, but it has 120mm spacing.
Cheers,
Rob

Yes. I had a tandem cro-moly frame respaced from 135mmto 145mm by Pete at Cycle Science in Mitcham.
Any good frame-builder or bike mechanic should be able to do this. Out Essendon way I could suggest Hillman's Cycles in Brunswick as being frame experts. Sorry, I don't know anything about other NW suburbs shops. Alternately try Cecil Walker Cycles in the city or Brunswick Street Cycles.
