Beach Road Corridor Stratgey2010 BMC SLC01
Re: Beach Road Corridor Stratgeyi didn't even notice that there where no cars parked in that section, though i am new to riding beach rd.
what was it like in the days before the no stopping regulations? will definitely be having my say before the November dead line.
Re: Beach Road Corridor StratgeyI never really had a problem with it though I saw a few misses but nothing more than anywhere else. Most folk down that way know there's a million and one cyclists out and about on the road on the weekends.
Happy Days
Re: Beach Road Corridor StratgeyWhen you've done Beach Rd for that long you get to know almost every part and how to ride it as safely as possible.
Something I've noticed recently during the week is just the increased amount of traffic on Beach Rd. Lots of trucks too.
Re: Beach Road Corridor StratgeyI notice the parked cars not there. Reckon its great. Much safer, particularly when even more cyclists as weather improves.
Went to two of the council meetings where it was considered last year, and I gather issue goes back some years before that. Sure it does impact some locals, but overall public benefit outweighs IMO.
