Bass Coast Cycle Challenge November 19th 2011

The Bass Coast Challenge is on the 19th of November and I have been riding along parts of the course and videoing them with my helmet camera. I am not involved with the event and I am sharing my videos of the event so you can get an idea of what the course is like especially the scenery. This forth video is taken at about the 50 km mark which is number 7 on the cycling profile. It also shows the left hand turn into Glen Alvie rd which goes towards Wonthaggi which is part of the 85 km ride.

Is the surface as good as it looks on vid? I needs a bit more persuading to come down that far from the GV.

The surface is not to bad not as smooth as city streets but fine non the less. Surface is as good as the video shows and the roads are very quite. Not much traffic at all as the videos show.

If its too far to go why dont you do the Macedon Ranges Ride next Sunday instead on 13 November, the scenery is beautiful and only 35mins from melbourne, rideforbikes
