This is just a shout out to those thinking about (or having already signed up to) the Fruit Loop next month. This is the first 100km ride I've done since I was 18 (now 40 )
I've done a few 40-50km rides over the past few months and felt pretty good afterwards. I've been trying to keep up the commuting to get some time in the saddle and am really looking forward to it.
If anybody else on here is going to be there (and I reckon there will be some), it would be great to put a face to a name.

I rode the 100km Fruit Loop 3 years ago.
It was a family event as the whole extended family did it. 9 of us in total. We had a van following us with babies and grand parents in it.
Loved every minute of the ride.
It's a very flat ride but can be windy.
Hopefully it'll be a nice day for you. I remember it was cancelled one year due to flooding.
If you can ride 50k you won't have a problem doing 100k in a large pack.
There was a guy that did it on a scooter! no kidding.

Really good ride. Did the 100km. Lovely country with very good roads. And wouldn't Americans love to know that we rode through Dookie.

It’s more like our thoughts are thinking us than we are thinking them.
