MIRI Road user behaviour study seeking participants

Postby Aushiker » Wed Oct 10, 2012 1:47 pm

The Monash University Accident Research Centre is conducting a study to examine road user behaviour (i.e. drivers, motorcyclists, cyclists and pedestrians).

Depending on your road user group, the study will require you to:

*Driver group: drive a vehicle fitted with data logging and video equipment along a pre-set on-road route
*Motorcyclist group: ride your own motorcycle along a pre-set on-road route.
*Cyclist group: ride your own bicycle along a pre-set on-road route
*Pedestrian group: negotiate a series of pedestrian crossings on foot.

All road users will be required to ‘think aloud’ while completing the study. The experiment will last for 1.5 hours and participants will be paid $35 for their participation.
