The Ballaarat to Melbourne Classic - 29 March 2014
Postby barefoot » Fri Jan 31, 2014 11:55 am
This is a fundraising ride I'm putting on, to support the Pallister-Killian Syndrome Foundation of Australia.
29 March 2014.
Event information is here.
Registration is here.
It's a 150km route (with optional bail-in or bail-out points along the way for those who want to ride a shorter route), following back roads and bike paths from Ballarat to Melbourne. A social ride, not a race.
A hearty pub lunch is provided at Greendale Pub (between Ballan and Bacchus Marsh), coffee and cake stop at The Jolly Miller in Bacchus Marsh, and a gourmet burger and beer at the finish at Beer Deluxe in Federation Square.
A small-ish group of us did the ride last year, and had an absolute ball. This year's ride will be bigger and better!

A week and a day to go before the Ballaarat to Melbourne Classic.
There's currently 35 riders registered, and a couple more I know are coming.
We're also putting on a bus, with custom-built bike trailer, to bring people up from Melbourne on the Saturday morning. $20/head.
I need numbers by the end of this weekend... so now would be a good time to click that registration link up there ^^^ and fill in your details

Awww man, just saw this Tim, I'd been hanging out for this one since I heard about it last year.
Can't believe how much money you guys raised, I put in a small donation but I'll be there with bells on next year (provided I don't miss it again ).
