Melburn cycle paths map?

Postby tooslowtorace » Fri Mar 17, 2017 2:52 pm

Is there a decent, comprehensive map of Melbourne's cycle paths available anywhere? How do you plan your off road expeditions around the city?

Some councils have maps online but many don't. There are a couple of books one of which is Bike Paths & Rail Trails Guide.

Google maps toggling cycling will show them, along with a lot of clutter. The colours are useless, but the trails are generally a lot more curvy than the lanes.

Coincidentally a BN forum member has devised a map and is seeking feedback.

That's an amazing piece of work. Can't thing why BV hasn't taken on something along those lines.
