Cyclist hit at intersection of Park St & Royal Pde this morning?
Postby velonaut » Mon Mar 20, 2017 1:48 pm
Has anyone heard anything about a collision in Parkville this morning? When I passed there around 8:40am, police were blocking the centre southbound lane off Royal Pde, with a damaged bike and damaged van in the blocked off area. The rider was nowhere to be seen (ambulance had presumably come and gone), but here's hoping they're ok. Nothing's been reported in the news, but the van's windscreen was damaged, which leaves me very worried that it was a serious collision.

Some info about it here on the Moreland BUG discussion page. Best wishes for the rider as it sounds like a big hit.
