Bribie Island Ride

Good stuff Foo, I got lined up for a kayak paddle up the river this morning so couldn't ride, but the ladies are keen for a ride tomorrow so we'll just do our local Beachmere/Ningi family lap.

The ride tomorrow is always faster than today Paddles. :)

The Saturday one, even though it has a few quick parts, they always regroup. 8)

I remember you saying that the sunday one is a bit quicker, there's no way these girls or even myself are up for that sort of pace, especially considering I went and picked up mummy from Bluey's at about midnight. She still rode with a hangover though, we were just a bit later in the morning than usual. I'm keen to get over for that Saturday morning lap though, it's just a matter of getting a day when there's nothing else happening here.

Well the wind this morning was just plain nasty nasty nasty. Still, it was a good ride with good people, even though we didn't have the coffee shop sprint. :(

Being a sook today, the wind is gusting 39-69kmh and that makes for dangerous riding here. :(

Another good if not very humid morning for a ride. These Sunday rides are getting harder also with some of the guns turning up but the group is on average 18 riders varying from 16-74yrs old. Trust me the 74yr old is no slouch and can inflict serious pain on the younger riders  and I don't stand a hope in hell of staying with him!

A top morning for a ride. Bloody Strava only did half its job as I did 70klms this morning not 44klms.

Well I finally got to meet this Coolum rider.

It was another good morning for riding and to see how young Idry goes. I can say that he felt some pain with the bunch this morning and possibly more pain if he gets home late.

Home early enough to hook up with the Friday bunch ride. The conditions were almost perfect, just a 5-10kmh head wind. 8)
