Was in the brisbane city last night about 7.30 PM.
Did see the most reckless act of bicycle riding that i have ever seen.
This bloke on a vivid white Single speed did a big sprint along Elizabeth street against the direction of traffic.
He managed to lane split between oncoming motor cars.
I thought there was going to be a massive crash but he made it to exit onto Albert Street.
There was a lot of tooting horns and pedestrians on the footpath were looking in stunned amazement.
Anybody know more ?
Watch out for this guy !

Check out youtube. It sounds like the sort of posed stunt that idiots do these days for their five minutes of internet fame.

It was much more extreme than any of those New York bike courier type videos that i have seen, many of which are sort of impressive.ColinOldnCranky wrote:Check out youtube. It sounds like the sort of posed stunt that idiots do these days for their five minutes of internet fame.
This stunt was more like something out of the latest Brooce Willis movie.
But maybe just an expression of exasperation at the cost of public transport in brisbane.
