Ipswich or brisbane riders

i have just started riding and i am looking a group to ride with in the ipswich area but will travel to brisbane if i must.

I visit Ipswich for work periodically and have seen a few bunches getting around in the early AM.

It looks like a cool place to cycle if you start before the heat of the day. Traffic isn't mad around town and a few nice hills to keep it interesting.

Sure you will find someone.

yeh there are some great hills around the city and the drivers seem to give you a fair bit of room which is nice. you do get the odd crazy person driving a bit close.

i hope i can make contact with a group it would be very useful.

contact gary or megan at totally spoked or pop into their shop on brisbane st (i think) and ask about their thurs morning ride. 6.00 am, fairly relaxed, not really coaching or anything, you'll enjoy it. back in town around 7.30
they also have a longer, yet slightly quicker ride on saturday mornings, same time same place.
