Mt Cootha-Toowong Overpass is Open

Postby BobW » Sat Mar 07, 2009 7:13 pm

Yes it is true finally on Friday afternoon 6th March, unofficially open to use, Officially on Saturday the 7th March.

Yes it is well worth going over. What a great view of the traffic below. The only question I had was, how the hell did I always make it through those roundabouts without an incident.

I know this is part of another thread, but it Just so great to have it open.

Hi Bob, welcome to this forum.
You will probaly be interested in various discussions about the overpass in another Qld thread,
"Toowong Roundabout Cyclist crossing", which started before this project began construction.
Best regards, elantra

It's probably got something to do with the anti magpie apparatus you've had strapped to the top of your helmet! I propose that you go with the tin foil this year! Apparently, it keeps the magpies from reading your thoughts.
