Places to ride at night - Gold Coast

I noticed that the NSW guys have a night race on a lit-up cycleway somewhere and I was just wondering if anyone knows of any places on the Gold Coast where one could feasibly go for a ride after (or before) dark? Even if it was just a loop.

The obvious choice would be shopping centre carparks, but that may be a bit hard to do on a regular basis

I can't think of anywhere that's adequately lit for a decent night time smashfest on the GC - most of the beach strip would probably be okay but you'd need decent lights and it'd be dicey. If you just wanted to cruise along a shared path, I think the shared paths along Burleigh and Broadbeach are lit up well enough - you wouldn't have much luck doing any kind of meaningful training along them though.

There could be other spots but I am stumped?
