Mount Isa

Mount Isa

Postby Rick O'Shea » Wed Apr 22, 2009 6:19 pm

Hi I have just heard I might be getting a transfer to Mount Isa. I am just a bit of a casual rider but somebody told me the roads are a bit dodgy and you might be better off using your mountain bike, if you can avoid the road trains.

I have only been cycling a year or so and really enjoy it especially after all those rugby injuries in my youth. I was looking at getting a road bike but I might hang off just in case i get there and the roads are really poor.

I'd appreciate any comments or insights
