Hey dudes,
I'm planning on riding to Coolum from Brisbane North (Eatons Hill) on my roadie, any suggestions on the route I should take? We (cyclists) aren't allowed on the Bruce Hwy are we?
Cheers,
Chris

Re: CoolumDo a search on Bikely to see if anyone has logged the recent Brisbane to Noosa Imperial Century ride - it avoided the highway alltogether and went into Coolum. I've seen bikes on the highway, but I don't think it's a good idea...
Re: CoolumI'm pretty sure we are allowed on the Bruce Highway from Burpengary up. So you would have to stick to to Old Gympie rd. Although I'm not sure about the Caboolture stretch with the road works....... You could go up Old Gympie rd till Morayfield rd, then go up through Morayfield and Caboolture, jump on to Beerwah rd and then onto Steve Irwin way, that will bring you out at the Caloundra turn off.....
