Postby Good Cat » Thu Oct 08, 2009 1:39 pm

I want to start racing, have just turned 40.

What is the grading system for masters?
If it’s A, B, C etc what does each grade mean in terms of race length and AV speed?Hi

What are the thoughts regarding best club on the gold coast for masters racing?

The forum is a little more racing focused than here, you will probably get more answers over there.

From what I know(I asked about this at my club during the week), you need to join a club, get a racing licence then turn up at an event explain your situation to the handicapper who will decide on your grade. You do the race, if you do ok they will leave you in that grade, if you fail badly they may drop you a grade.

As clubs on the coast and circuits etc, the guys on roadgrime will know more for sure.
