Completion of this survey is for a research study into cycling habits, constraints on cycling, and motivations for cycling in southeast Queensland. Information from this survey will help Bicycle Queensland in its programming and advocacy efforts. We welcome you to participate in this survey if you are 18 years of age or older.


Everyone who participates can enter 10 prize drawings to win $50 gift vouchers and receive a summary of the findings.

You are not required to provide your name or any contact details on the survey. All responses will be completely confidential. You may decide to withdraw your participation at any time by simply not completing the survey.

Your participation is totally voluntary. By completing the survey you are consenting to take part in this research.

This project is called “Cycling in Queensland: Cycling Behaviour and Correlates”. It has been cleared by a human ethics committee of The University of Queensland in accordance with the National Health and Medical Research Council’s guidelines. You are, of course, free to discuss your participation in this study with project staff.
